UVA Entrepreneurship Cup TONIGHT!
Tonight, November 10th, we will host the Finals for the Concept Stage competition in the UVA Entrepreneurship Cup! If you are on or near Grounds, please consider making some time to join the events, meet the finalist, and enjoy some food.
Special thanks to the Jefferson Trust, which provided the $20,000 in total award support for this year’s Concept Competition! Twenty winning teams across Grounds and UVA Wise will each receive $1000 to help move their ideas to the next stage.
Past participants in the Concept Stage of the Entrepreneurship Cup have gone on to hit significant milestones: Agrospheres, Relish, Contraline, Brandefy, Jois de Sans (now JAS), to name a few.
There are three locations for the Finals, each location for one of the Tracks in the Concept Stage. Here are the details:
Consumer/Business-to-Business Track Competition: Starting at 4:30PM EST at the Darden School of Business in Classroom 180/190 (iLab Classroom). RSVP here to attend!
Social Entrepreneurship Track - Starting at 5PM EST in the Great Hall of Garrett Hall.
Engineering and Healthcare Technologies Track - Starting at 5:15PM EST in Rice Hall Auditorium, Room 130
Everyone is welcome. The ECup is a great way to not only support the presenting teams, but also connect with other students interested in entrepreneurship. Not to mention, there is free food.
Unable to join the events in person? It’s the 21st century. You can stream every team’s pitch online.
